#1 Start with a plain square canvas. Flip it over to work on the frame side.
#2 Paint over frame and sides in pale green acrylic paint.
#3 Once paint is dry, apply crackle paint or crackle medium where desired.
#4 Using Tim Hiltz Distress Ink's ink the edges of the canvas paying special attention to the corners of the canvas. A few layers of ink may be required. Use stencils to create patterns.
#5 Paint the canvas inside the frame with a gold acrylic paint then apply white acrylic paint to the centre.
#6 Stamp chosen image onto a single sheet of white tissue paper using StazOn ink.
#7 Using a matte medium or PVA glue adhere the stamped tissue paper onto the canvas (tissue paper will become transparent). Repeat #6 with additional stamped images applied to the corners of the frame, adding any additional embellishments.
