I began with a pre- scored white Papermania 6x6 card blank and layered with a piece of Rich Plum Foundations cardstock which I made a tiny bit smaller than the card blank, so that it would leave a white border. I then embossed some white Centura Pearl cardstock with a tiny dots embossing folder and secured this so that it covered approximately 3/4 of my card. To cover the bottom part I cut a piece of gold self- adhesive glitter card to place underneath the white embossed piece. I then cut a length of gold, glitter edged ribbon I found in my stash and secured this with strong double sided tape to hide the join from the gold and embossed pieces of card. I secured the ends underneath the rich plum cardstock so the cut ends wouldn't be seen. I glued my chosen die cut topper taken from Hunkydory crafts's 'Snowy Animals' collection onto another piece of Rich Plum cardstock making sure it measured slightly larger than the topper itself. I then attached this to the centre of my card using 3D foam pads. I added the 'XMAS' sentiment to the side of the topper using the die cut letters supplied with the die cut topper sheet. I also glued a cluster of green and gold fabric leaves underneath the bottom right corner of my topper and secured a small gold satin bow on top. I finished by gluing a snowflake punched out of a small piece of the rich plum cardstock once again and placed this to the bottom left corner to complete my card.
